In order to further enhance our community wood fuel scheme that aims to demonstrate a sustainable way to heat buildings we bought new wood processing hand and electric tools to process the wood and demonstrate/educate how to do that in carbon neutral and safe ways.
Here is the list of tools: 3 hand saws, 2 crosscut saws, saw sharpener, hand axe, 2 splitting axes & axe sharpener, vertical log splitter, log saw, saw horse, electric chainsaw, pocket saw, kindle-maker and hammer. Have a look through the photos below.
The new tools were funded by Community Climate Action Fund, which is a Scottish Government fund, administered by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
