Thanks to Community Climate Asset Fund (CCAF) we have purchased and installed the following items in our community building – ‘Gouranga Hall’ to significantly reduce energy consumption, heat loss and thus carbon emissions:
1) Rockwool insulation in the loft
2) Low energy LED lighting
3) Two eco-friendly, low energy consumption community fridges that will also be used for our Food For Scotland Project.
Gouranga Hall includes community function hall, food hall, children’s creche and toilets. These facilities are used (in non pandemic times) for community meals, yoga, meditation and other public events.
CCAF is administered by Keep Scotland Beautiful on behalf of Scottish Government.
